Ok have to meet with Jean-Pascal and the rest of the crew to make a convoy to Gate 1. so I was running behind because we had some issues with vehicles and had to jockey them around. So Jeans pissed at me, he’s military and if you are five minutes late he can not handle this. So he chews on me in broken English and French then asked where the others are. I tried to explain to him that they were helping switch vehicles and they would be here shortly! He got frustrated and said meet me in MITRO. Ok!

So when Elder and Wu got here we headed to Mitro ( note to self, when riding with a Russian driver, take motion sickness meds) oh my what a ride. Anyway we get to Mitro and there are no trucks. Where are my trucks? Its bad enough we are late but the trucks should already be here. Ok, go have a coffee and wait, and wait and wait. So we waited about 45 minutes and everyone is getting antsy. Therefore, I start making phone calls, only to find out there are no trucks. So now I am pissed, why are there no trucks? Here it is Wednesday and I know the septic tanks are full, and I am sure they are low on water. So back to Pristina and I am brewing all the way there. Don’t you hate when you are Mad and you learn later it was your mistake in the beginning. Well that just frustrated me more. Well what happen was I sent the email to all the right people accept 1, the guy at transportation that arranges the trucks. OOOOOPS!

So we are back and I get every thing squared away for tomorrow. Cross my fingers!

Ok here we go again, we meet and we head to Mitro. Ok trucks are here and away we go! It is a beautiful drive through the mountains to get to the gate and I get lost in my dreaded thoughts of the convoys that will continue in the cold winter months with black ice on the roads and snow everywhere, this will turn a five hour venture into and all day thing then there will be days where we are cut off.
Ok back to reality, we arrive at the gate and they are pleased to finely see us. So we get em serviced and away we go. back down the mountain.
